Hosting an Afribeads Shopping Party

A great way that you can support the women in Uganda is to host and Afribeads party!

As a party host, you simply need to host a gathering with four or more friends. No fancy planning needed – just a space for your friends to gather where Nimmity can share the Afribeads story and set up a small display. A coffee table is plenty of space!

How does it work?

Book a Party

  • Simply find a time that works for you here, and book a party!
  • Once you have the time booked in, we’ll be in touch to confirm all the details
  • You need be in easy driving distance of Sydney to host party. If you’re not sure, just drop us a note and we’ll confirm for you.

Host Gifts

As a host, you will receive a gift for booking the party. You will also be eligible for more gifts if people book a party from your party, and even more gifts based on the amount of shopping people do at your party.

How long does it take?

We suggest allowing 2 hours for your Afribeads Shopping Party.

Parties work well at any time of the day; morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea or cocktail hour.

The story, product demonstration and shopping takes about an hour. So you just want to allow time for people to connect and relax before or afterwards.

What do I have to do?

Once you have your time booked in, we’ll reach out to help. You’ll just need to:

  • Confirm that you have four or more people attending.
  • Share information with guests about what to expect. We’ll provide you with a simple invitation to make this easy.
  • Have a space available for everyone to gather, where Nimmity can share the story and provide a simple product demonstration.
  • We suggest providing light beverages and snacks. There is no need to put on a big spread – keep it simple!

What happens on the day

Nimmity will arrive and setup a simple demonstration area. Note we are not setting up a full market stall in your home – it will just be a small sample of products to show case the range (one of each). This can be done while you and the guests are connecting and getting your drinks and snacks if you like, or Nimmity can come a little early to setup.

When everyone is ready, Nimmity will spend some time sharing stories about the products and how they are made.

There will be some fun trivia and games – with prizes for your guests!

Guests will have the opportunity to order products.

When everyone has finished shopping, Nimmity will tally up and let you know as the host what additional gifts are coming your way!
