AfriBeads products are made by a group of 30 women in Kampala, Uganda called the Afribeads Women’s Association. They work together as a collective, meeting together regularly to discuss and make business decisions. 

Afribeads in Australia provides a market for their products, providing them with an income to support them and their families. 

Each item of jewellery includes the name of the person who made that item.  The women use their creativity to suggest designs and patterns and are also highly skilled at producing  quality items consistently.
